I have loved and admired the Beastie Boys (my no. 1 band for fifteen years of my life). All my friends will attest to that. They were the ultimate in cool and they had a great sense of humour, but they were also the ultimate in being ethical. I am incredibly saddened by Adam Yauch's death. I really LOVED that guy. He was one of the biggest inspirations to me in the visual and musical arts. He was also a great role model to me
